How should a brand respond to a crisis? Not like this. A week or so ago, Victoria's Secret was under fire for their "The Perfect 'Body'" campaign, and instead changing their tagline to "A Body for Every Body".
It seems like they're not done with their crisis PR. In an attempt to soften the criticism, Victoria's Secret put a video on their Instagram today where a model laments that she doesn't have the same bone structure as another model. It's a very odd video.
So tone deaf. But whatever, they tried I guess.
I agree that the video was inappropriate. However, even Victoria Secret models have body longings...I don't think that video was strange at all.
